Poor culture. Poor upper management

Really poor culture lead from upper management down to staff. A lack of urgency from senior management to problem solve serious issues due to lack of decision making skills, and lack of resources. I found that safeguarding concerns were not taken as seriously as they should be. Meetings held generally never had an outcome and ended with organising another meeting, which delayed things further. Stressful and nasty work environment

Negative culture especially by long term staff, eg, if they tried something before they would not try it again therefore clients went without, eg. If they took a client cinema and it was a negative experience the client was never brought again.

Changes a lot. Very disappointing at the moment and not supportive of staff.

Enjoyed working here. Lately very disappointed and the lack of management listening to staffs concerns. Realise that a lot of change is occurring and the company is ensuring policies and procedures are up to date and in line with Hiqa and New Directions coming into place. However staff on the front line are not satisfied at present.

Mixed opinions about management. Very few good managers and hard to progress.

Hard to progress in this company, very few stages of progression (i.e. CSW, DCSM, CSM, SSM and then CEO). I currently work in a good and supportive staff team with a great manager, however from covering shifts in other units this is not always the case.
