Nice place to work if your friends with other staff.
Love working here but only because some friends are also here. Supervisers and Management no longer allow us water while in the shop, we are expected to not talk to other staff while customers are around. Management expect us to work like dogs, while paying us the minimum wage for our age e.g. 9.09 for a 19year old. All of our contracts were renewed but still had probationary periods. Not to mention that dealing with the public means the customer is always right, even when they clearly are not. Would I recommend applying to work here? Absolutely. It really opens your eyes, and has given me confidence and made me a more realistic person.

Fast pace. Demanding Managers
Only got €7.70 per hour because I was under 18 whereas everyone else my age gets €10.20. Very demanding managers and not a fun workplace unless they aren't there. Amount of hours per week varies so part-time isn't ideal. I worked in Fruit and Veg and after two weeks of working there, I was thrown in the deep end and worked 8am-5pm on my own. I had no idea what to do as usually I was rostered for the evenings when it is quiet and majority of the stock has sold out.

Poor management
Constantly on your back always complains nothing if ever good enough no matter how many hours you put into the place. Complete disregard for anybody working there. I wouldn’t even go to the interview if I could turn back time.

Tracy's SuperValu
If your part time it's great loads of people to be swapping shifts with. Now if your a full time employee....run for the hills.Union squasher inconsistent hours. I'm full time currently writing this review after again only being rostered for less than 25 hours next week. No raises. Staff working there for over a decade on Minimum wage
