Fairly flat structure, if you've got something constructive or useful to add to the agenda then you will be heard. Well organised firm with a strong vision and value set underlying a reasonably relaxed and human approach to business.
The People Group offers a good balance between professional and personal life. The hours are 8.30-5pm most days with an earlier finish on a Friday, especially when the sun is shining and some R 'n R beckons.
As with most jobs, if you are interested in the role and grafting it out then there is plenty of flexibility in this company...
The company is almost 30 years old, with a great brand and reputation in the market place. If you are good at networking, like to help people and are commercially focused then The People Group is a terrific place to develop your career.
The best advice is to do your research, be able to align your career to date to the role of a recruitment consultant and demonstrate that you are ambitious and driven to make a success of yourself. The company looks for smart people with a good work ethic who are adaptable and above all nice.
Fairly normal interview process. Plenty of information provided on the recruitment industry and how The People Group tries to do things a bit differently. Lots of emphasis placed on the human side of recruitment. The interview process here is very much a two way street and I felt I was meeting with people who had lots of experience and would help guide my career well.
