I initially interviewed in early 2017 for a role and it was not an enjoyable experience. If they had offered me the job at the time I would not have accepted, based on the experience. It felt more like a grilling. In 2018 I applied again and it was completely different experience. I was interviewed by the new HR Manager and a Senior Manager for the role I applied for. When I arrived I was immediately welcomed by name at the front desk and offered tea, coffee or water. When I met the interview team I was immediately put at ease. We chatted for about 5 minutes about life before commencing the interview. While they dug into my experience and ability to do the job, it was also a pleasant experience. I am not sure how to describe it only to say that I felt equal at the table. They recognized that they had to sell the company to me too . The content of the interview was like most other interviews, however it was a really enjoyable experience. I left that interview feeling valued, feeling like they wanted to know me as much as learn about what was on the cv and I then spent a few days praying to get offered the job. I wanted to work with those guys and thankfully the offer came. I am still here and very happy to say that I my instincts were right.Answered 11 April 2019
If you want to work in a positive environment, with a group of staff who are fun to be around and are up for a challenge, then this is for you. I enjoy driving in here everyday because of the environment in the office. Make up your own mind. When you go through the interview process you will see what it is like and your gut will tell you whether it is right for you or not. For me it was right and my instincts were right. I went prepared and asked questions of the interview team also. They were timely in their responses throughout the process and were happy to answer any question I had. Dealing with the HR team was a pleasure and I am glad I dint let myself be influenced by what appear to be outdated opinions of the company.Answered 11 April 2019
As mentioned, there is still a lot of change happening. This change is to continue to improve our structures and processes. That can sometimes to lead to uncertainty on which direction to go when you are in the middle of a task. There is enough support networks available now to help navigate challenges and to be an engineer, you need to be able to problem solve anyway, so I don't mind it.Answered 11 April 2019
