Job was pretty good, teaching kids science on the weekends. Pay was just above minimum wage, management was fine, hours were okay. Communication could have been better at times.

It's fine place to work but management is terrible, it's pretty archaic and false. Changes are promised but never come
Administration Assistant (Former Employee) - Trinity College, County Dublin - 19 January 2022
Senior management are no good, lower managers have no power, some of them micro manage which is awful. They can be controlling and the executive officer pay scale is ridiculously low considering the cost of living nowadays

CLCS Spanish Language Assistant (Current Employee) - Dublin - 5 February 2020
As a language assistant, it was enjoyable watching a range of people studying my mother tongue. It really encouraged me to do my best and provide the students with as much help as they needed to succeed in their assignments, and I had great fun and satisfaction watching their progress!

Nice place to work
Chef De Partie (Current Employee) - Buttery Restaurant - 4 June 2018
I normally work 8-4:30 Mon-Fri during term, working the occasional function, when they arise. So there is overtime involved.
I normally work the veg or salad sections, and also service during a function. Eg: plating starter, main course and dessert.
Out of term the shifts can vary, according to whether there are functions on are not.
The hours are suitable, however the salary is not.
Pros
good holidays over christmas
Cons
salary not comensurate with my experience

Great groups of people working there
Administrator (Former Employee) - Dublin - 23 January 2018
Overall I'd say that this is a fantastic place to work. My main issue was the lack of long-term contracts- this meant that many valuable employees were lost to other companies which offered long-term or permanent roles.
