interesting job

involved meeting new people and working as part of a team on a project. The project was about cyberbullying which is becoming an epidemic online leading to unhappiness in students.

Fun, productice workplace

Junior Orientation Guide/ First Seven Weeks Guide (Former Employee) - Limerick - 22 February 2018

Lovely place to work. Typical day included greeting new students and breaking them into groups. From here icebreakers and tours were the call over the day. It was my job to ensure the new students felt comfortable throughout the day and energy was kept high.

Great people to work with

Very much enjoyed my time in the International Education division of U.L as buddy program coordinator. Great colleagues, all friendly and helpful. Was left to work to my own initiative and come up with my own improvements for the system. My job was temporary, a filler between undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Le personnel était à disposition des stagiaires pour les former sur les instruments de caractérisation, une ressource bibliographique très vaste était proposée par la bibliothèque de l'université. Une journée typique était bien remplie mais peu stressante et adaptée à notre rythme. Le séjour en Irlande a permis de développer mon anglais, bien que l'intégration dans les groupes de thésards déjà formés était difficile. La pratique de la langue a été néanmoins concluante auprès des techniciens, de mes tuteurs et de mes colocataires. Le sujet de stage était très intéressant et a développé mes connaissances de caractérisation des matériaux et m'a fait découvrir la métallurgie du titane.

great enviorment to work in

In mt tme working in University of limerick enjoyed my time working in UL as when i was working if gave me a taste of what college life was like.In a typical day I was either working in the mail room sorting mail or doing day to day runs with the post man delivering mail throughout the large campus

Lots of Bureaucracy, difficult to work for. I worked specifically for the careers department. I produced a tutorial video for them on how to use their new website. The pay was not great, neither were the people that I had to coordinate with

La mission consistait principalement à assister un thésard dans ses travaux. J'ai effectué beaucoup de recherche bibliographique et réaliser quelques expériences concernant les nanoparticules. Le cadre de travail était très agréable, les collègues très ouvert et chaleureux. J'ai dû beaucoup me documenter afin de pouvoir comprendre les mécanismes influençant le comportement des nanoparticules.
