Time managging is very important to meet the strict goals. The management is very good but the conditions that the company offers are not. Very difficult to ask for hollidays. Friendly ambient thanks to the high amount of workers.
Pros
High comissions
Cons
Stressful, Requires full disponibility and doesn't offer full time work.

Cashier (Former Employee) –  IE9 February 2017
I really enjoyed this job, the best part was the team that i was working woth, because even though the work was so hard because of the pressure, it was always so worth it to have such a nice people around.
A typical day at work was non stop at all, resolving problems with tills, looking afer customers etc,..
I learnt how to deal with the pressure and work ,doing your best everyday putting a smille on your face and being organised and respetful.

Its a really friendly place to work in where management believe in staff ability to perform at their best and using their initiative
Sales Advisor (Current Employee) –  Athlone, County Westmeath30 April 2016
When I come into work I just sign in and look at the daily plan just know what am supposed to do for the day, Usually, it is impossible to strictly follows the plans as each day depends on customers needs. I have learned the that when you work hard you will enjoy whatever role you find your self performing. And surely management respects and trust a hard working staff. The work atmosphere depends on how one get on with every member of the team. The hardest part of the job is when customers come in and just want to monopolize your time and want you to only wait on them. I love helping customers find the right outfit for their parties, I love the look of satisfaction in their eyes when you pick out the perfect outfit for them.
Pros
staff discount
Cons
late night closing

Sales Assistant (Former Employee) –  IE23 February 2016
A typical day of work would be busy but working as a team, time flew by.

The hardest part of the job would be at the closing time, whrn we had to organize everything as fast as we could.

Very enjoyable work
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) –  Arena Mall, Bacău, Romania18 January 2016
There is no such thing as a typical day at work as a sales assistant. The environment is very dynamic and every day brings something new and something different. I learned how to be patient, how to work well with people and how to develop strong relationships with customers. The management and co-workers were always nice and wonderful to work with. The hardest part was probably multi-tasking, but I personally think that is a thing I became to excel at. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with new people all the time, communicating and developing relationships.

Busy but satisfying place to work.
Sales Advisor/ Cashier (Current Employee) –  cork14 August 2015
I currently work as a cashier. Its a very responsible position dealing with money and customers. Its fast paced but I enjoy the buzz. I was previously a sales assistant in charge of the shoe section and I really enjoyed that. However I am ambitious and in consultation with my manager it was agreed I should broaden my experience and move upwards to a cash desk position. Zara is a lovely work environment, the staff all get on well together and customers clearly enjoy the experience. The only downside is the lack of full time contracts at the moment.
Pros
Working for a high fashion brand.
Cons
Lack of full time positions.

Good place to work
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) –  Dublin29 November 2013
Starting cash registers, taking delivery, making coordination based on store sales reports, the exact complement of the goods. The most pleasant part of the day at work making coordination, issuing a new collection in store. I loved this job creative and capable of showing up. Customer service and acquaint him with the new collection is also enjoyable. And a very good customer service, so that he felt that we care about him and is pampered. Always the customer coming back. The hardest part was taking delivery of the equipment would not work, jornada often spoiled and faltered.
Pros
good medical care discount card, good atmosphere at work
Cons
stress, a lot of tasks to do at once, work late
