Our history:
You’ve known us previously as NGA Human Resources UK and Ireland. Today we are Zellis. Over 50 years ago Peterborough Data Processing Limited was founded and grew quickly, changing names a few times along the way.
As Northgate in 2007 Arinso was acquired and became NorthgateArinso. This in time simplified to NGA Human Resources.
In – more... February 2018 the UK & Ireland division was sold to operate as a standalone company – That’s us, Zellis.
We continue to partner with our former parent company to serve the needs of global customers in the UK and Ireland.
A lot has changed in 50 years, we’ve been leaders through it all and we’re ready for what’s next.

Now, we're in direct control of our business. It’s an exciting time for us and our customers too.
We have supportive shareholders committed to developing the business for the long term. We will be making significant investments to further enhance our technology and services, with exciting developments in areas like robotics and AI.
Our focus will be on delivering successful partnerships with customers. We want to work closely with you to help you achieve better employee experiences and deliver successful business outcomes.
Zellis might be a new name, but we are a strong and long-established company and we aim to remain at the forefront of our industry.
50 years of success looks like this:
- 830,000 processed payments per month
- 60 million payslips every year (based on monthly payrolls)
- 5 of the Top 10 banks work with us
Our corporate areas of focus for FY20:
1.Deliver a joined up high quality customer experience at every stage
2.Upgrade our core products and improve product stability; and lay the foundations for new platforms / products to drive future growth
3.Build our brands in the market and deliver strong growth in sales and sales pipeline
4.Strengthen and build the tools and capabilities in the business to enable our growth
5.Create the Zellis culture and build a better colleague experience.
