How to update the ownership of an individual account

  1. Sign in to the Indeed employer account you want to update.
  2. Select your email address in the top-right corner, then choose Employer settings.
  3. Go to the Profile tab.
  4. Update your name, contact details and email address.
  5. Select Save.
  6. If prompted, verify your new email address to confirm the change.

Your account is now updated with the new owner's details.

FAQs

Question: Can I change my main organisation account owner without contacting support?

Answer: Yes, as long as you can sign in. If you can't sign in, contact Indeed Support and have your account details ready.

Question: Can I use the same email address for multiple Indeed accounts?

Answer: Maybe. As a user, you can link an email account to more than one Indeed account. But your email address can be listed as the owner of only one account. If the email you want to use is already linked to another account, you may need to choose a different one.

Question: Does the verification email arrive right away?

Answer: Usually, yes. It should arrive within a few minutes. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.
