To reach candidates with a single recruitment source and achieve cost efficiencies for its recruitment advertising budget, HDS had its jobs included in Indeed’s organic search results and used Sponsored Job campaigns to drive more targeted candidates to hard-to-fill positions.
HDS’ Sponsored Jobs received premium placement in relevant Indeed search results. This increased visibility lead to more applicants and higher quality candidates. “Technical Product Manager for Storage Configuration, a very hard-to-fill position, had been open for a long time. Shortly after sponsoring it on Indeed, we found our hire,” Darner said.
HDS made hires through Indeed for roles across multiple technical functions. “Because so many different types of professionals use Indeed, we’re able to dramatically improve the exposure of our openings to the talent we want to target,” Darner said.
HDS’ applicant tracking system, Taleo Enterprise Edition, allowed it to fully measure its results with Indeed. Compared to a leading technology job board, Indeed provided twice as many hires at a quarter of the cost per hire (CPH).
