Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage bar staff.
- Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing feedback.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regular patrons.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Manage stock levels and place orders with suppliers.
- Track sales and monitor costs to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and orders.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee cash handling and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting.
- Implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Promotion and Marketing:
- Plan and execute events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to boost foot traffic and sales.
- Use social media and digital tools to promote the bar and events.
Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a bar management or similar supervisory role.
