Wild Atlantic Opticians is a young, vibrant and innovative practice. We are currently seeking applicants who are highly motivated, hard-working, friendly enthusiastic & positive to join our team.

  • In this position, you'll make sure that every patient gets a great experience when they come into our practice. Duties will include working our computer systems, administrative work including booking in appointments, helping customers choose frames that best suit their need, advising customers on lens types and options available to them, ordering lenses and glasses, and much, much more.
  • Must be sales driven, computer proficient and a natural when it comes to customer care.
  • Experience in optics desirable but not a necessity.
  • All staff within our team require to be cross trained between to opticians side of our business, in terms of dealing with patients, hospital referrals and dealing with optometrist requests, alongside our gifting business which involves acceptance of goods inwards, checking of deliveries, fulfilling of online orders, merchandising shop floor, maintaining organisation in stock rooms, completing stock takes etc.

The gift shop is filled with wonderful, charming products, that reflect the passions and interests of the team; from sustainable toys to books, beauty products and Irish design specialties.

Online fulfilment and gift wrapping happens at the counter and there are host of pick your own and make your own gift options too.

There is no shopfit anywhere in the opticians or the gift store. Instead they use found furniture, upcycled materials, creative props and framed pictures throughout.
