Gibson & Associates LLP have one of the fastest growing Immigration Service departments in Ireland, with a view to further expansion, providing our team career growth opportunities.

We advise national and international clients on private and commercial immigration matters.

We are seeking to hire a full time, permanent Immigration Solicitor.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform substantive and client facing work.
  • Taking clients instructions, preparing and reviewing application forms.
  • Overseeing the management of case matters for allocated clients.
  • Take full responsibility for running own immigration matters from start to finish with processing support.
  • Ensuring that billing on cases is prompt
  • Ensuring Case Management Systems are kept up to date and reflect case progress in real time
  • Raising any case concerns directly with the Immigration Manager
  • Ongoing development in respect of immigration and mobility policies.
  • Working directly with our clients and supporting our CX Strategy with opportunities to develop your experience and skill set.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of Irish Immigration Law required
  • Experience in taking client instructions
  • Experience in liaising with relevant government departments
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment preferred
  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – demonstrates awareness
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and solution driven approach to challenges
  • Must have customer facing experience
  • Must be able to work efficiently to deadlines
