We’re seeking a Full-Stack Infrastructure & Support professional to provide first- and second-level technical support and optimize our end-to-end technology environment. This individual reports to the Director of IT Security (USA) and supports both Ireland and U.S. operations, utilizing time zone differences within a follow-the-sun support model. The role blends user support with advanced systems administration and infrastructure management. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive systems administrator who enjoys owning infrastructure, strengthening security, and continuously improving IT operations.
What You’ll Do
You will provide responsive support for laptops, desktops, office devices, and enterprise applications while administering and supporting Microsoft 365 (Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Active Directory, VPN, and access controls across cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll manage server and virtualization infrastructure including VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Failover Clustering, IIS, SQL Server (2019/2022), and Unix-based systems, while overseeing backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Zerto), SMTP configuration, load balancing, and certificate management. This role also includes troubleshooting network services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), supporting physical security systems and IT asset management, maintaining vendor relationships (VOIP, ISP, cellular), automating processes using PowerShell, tracking requests through a ticketing system, and providing occasional after-hours support as needed.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- 3-5 years in IT support or systems administration
- Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
- Active Directory and Group Policy management
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- Windows Server administration
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) administration
- IIS and SQL Server administration
- UNIX exposure and familiarity
- Practical knowledge of ITIL framework
