Full job description

Successful Conservation Consultancy in Dublin 2 seeks an experienced Office Manager to join our team. We are a hard-working and tight-knit team and are looking for the right fit.

We offer an excellent opportunity to join our team and facilitate the work on a variety of interesting and diverse projects, in a great working environment in a central location. There is provision for hybrid working, and some degree of flexibility around hours.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A highly organised and proactive individual
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a busy, multi-faceted role
  • Confident managing diaries, travel, and senior-level support
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations and team support
  • Capable of handling finance admin, including invoicing and credit control
  • The first point of contact for HR, recruitment, and internal coordination
  • Comfortable managing facilities and liaising with suppliers
  • Able to provide basic IT and systems support

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar Office Manager role
  • Excellent written English with strong editing and proofing skills
  • Advanced time management and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence working independently in a small team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools
  • Discretion and professionalism

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in finance admin and cashflow tracking
  • Experience in a creative or architectural environment and an interest in conservation or heritage sectors
  • Familiarity with HR policies and recruitment
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting
  • Confidence working across all levels of a business
