We are internationally approved to Design, Manufacture, Install, Service & Commission to all standards & have Award Winning expertise in Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection & Special Hazard Fire Protection.
THE ROLE
Our head office is based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and our Installation teams attend sites across Ireland and Europe. You will work on sites with an experienced Foreperson and crew to carry out mechanical installation tasks – installing pipework, fittings etc. There is a pay scale in place for this position which includes payment for travel to and from work in a Company Vehicle.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble and install Fire Protection Sprinkler systems, pipework and fittings as per Company’s standard operating procedures and in-house training
- Work as part of a team under the supervision of Installation Forepersons
- Responsible for reporting any Health, Safety & Wellbeing related incidents to responsible persons
- Complete assigned assembly and installation tasks within given timeframes
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Excellent safety practices in a construction environment
- Previous experience on construction sites
- Safe Pass Card
- Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces.
- Must be flexible and available for overtime and stay aways depending on site location.
- Ability to prioritise work and manage challenging workload
- Flexible, adaptable, problem solving and can-do attitude to work
- Positive, ambitious and enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
