SalaryLive-out: €30 gross per hour (approx. €70,200 gross per annum, based on a 45-hour week). Live-in: €25 gross per hour (approx. €58,500 gross per annum, based on a 45-hour week), inc a seperate beautiful private 2.5-bedroom cottage.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland. British and Irish citizens are welcome to apply. An EU passport would be advantageous due to the family's regular European travel, although this is not essential.

A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a warm, welcoming and highly respectful Irish family based in the sought-after village of Ranelagh, Dublin. Kids are boys of 12 and 9 years old and a girl of 7 years old.

This is a long-term role for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper looking to become a genuine extension of the family. They have an excellent reputation for retaining staff, with their current nanny having been with them for five years and their housekeeper for seven years. They truly value loyalty, professionalism and long-term relationships.

The family have three children, although your focus will primarily be on the two younger children, as the eldest starts boarding school this autumn. They're looking for someone calm, confident, organised and nurturing, who can provide kind, consistent boundaries and become another trusted adult in the children's lives.

The Role

This is a 45-hour per week position, available on either a live-in or live-out basis, combining approximately 40% childcare and 60% housekeeping.

You'll enjoy plenty of autonomy and take ownership of the role, helping the household run smoothly whilst providing excellent childcare.

Typical duties include:

• Caring for the children before and after school.
• School runs and activities.
• Preparing healthy, home-cooked family meals.
• Laundry, ironing and household organisation.
• Keeping the home beautifully presented.
• Occasional proxy parenting during business trips (with additional pay or time off in lieu).

A separate cleaner can be arranged for deep cleaning when required.

Live-in Accommodation

The successful candidate may choose to live in a beautiful self-contained 2.5-bedroom cottage with its own private garden, just a two-minute walk from the family home.

The accommodation would also suit a candidate wishing to relocate with their partner, making this a rare opportunity to establish a new home in Dublin while enjoying complete independence.

Travel

The family spend much of July and August in Spain, where separate accommodation is also provided close to the family home.

Candidates relocating from overseas can initially interview by video, followed by paid trial days in Dublin if before Mid July or Spain after and through August, allowing both parties to get to know each other before the role officially begins.

A Spanish speaker would be a wonderful bonus, although this is not essential.

A confident driver is essential, both in Dublin and ideally in Spain, with family vehicles provided.
