HomeSecure.ie are Ireland's Fastest Growing Home Alarm and Monitoring Company with over 30,000 happy customers throughout Ireland. We are looking for an Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover Contract) to join our team in Sandyford.


The role of the Accounts Assistant is to support the accounting function by successfully undertaking the Accounts Payable duties, while also assisting when required with the Accounts Receivable process. The salary for this position is €35,000 per annum, plus bonus.


Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all supplier invoices are correct, approved and processed on Sage 200
  • Communicating with other departments to ensure all purchasing documentation is in place
  • To ensure all stock purchase orders are processed
  • To discharge the weekly payment run in a timely manner
  • To post cashbooks and reconcile the company bank accounts
  • To post and reconcile the company credit cards and obtain transactional backup
  • To take full control of the shared accounts inbox and address any queries that come through it
  • To process morning customer payment files
  • To ensure that the customer suspense account is balanced daily
  • Assisting the Accounts Receivable team with customer account reconciliations when required
  • Other Ad Hoc Duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Previous experience using Sage200 preferable.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
