We operate from two locations on the New Mallow Road in North Point Business Park and in North Valley Business Centre on the Old Mallow Road. The position of Administrative Assistant has arisen at our offices in North Point House, North Point Business Park, New Mallow Road, Cork. This position has an immediate start. Full training is provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answering the phones and screening calls
  • Diary management and appointment setting
  • Managing travel and accommodation requirements
  • Organising couriers, post and parcels to customers
  • Order administration & processing
  • Stationery and supply order
  • Database management
  • Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for management
  • Process receipts and bank payments
  • Process post fulfillment
  • Client Account Administration including Company Admin duties.
  • Working closely with the Managing Director on Client Management.
  • SEO & Online Marketing Duties
  • Ad-Hoc duties as they arise

Qualifications and Skills

Ideally the candidate will have:

1-2 year minimum experience in an office administration role, ideally in the professional services environment. Ability to work on a variety of tasks concurrently, effectively, and to deadlines proactivly. Ability to prioritise important tasks and manage time effectively. Highly professional, well presented and a welcoming manner. Interpersonal skills to communicate optimally with telephone callers, visitors, and staff. Flexible and adaptable approach to work with a positive attitude. Communicate and work well with others and as part of a team. IT and telephone skills – call management, typing, strong excel, Microsoft word skills. Candidates should be fluent in English. Other language skills an advantage.

We provide a comfortable work environment with modern recently refurbished offices, dual monitor PC, free parking, and we close for Christmas until early January. No weekend work is required. The position is Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with statutory breaks.
