Clerical Officer Opportunities (2 Roles)

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare

Rate: €17.55 per hour

Contract: Month-to-Month Temporary Contract

Start Date: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Clerical Officers to join a busy healthcare environment in Naas. These are excellent opportunities for candidates with strong administrative experience who can quickly adapt and thrive in a fast-paced setting.


Role 1

This position supports a high-volume department entering a particularly busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-volume and highly accurate data entry
  • Processing and updating records
  • Managing administrative documentation
  • Supporting day-to-day operational activities
  • Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy at all times

Working Hours:

Rotating shifts:

  • 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • 10:00am - 6:00pm
  • One weekend day approximately every third week

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years' administration experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment

Role 2: Clerical Officer

This varied position supports multiple healthcare services and includes patient-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and assisting patients
  • Reviewing and checking patient charts and documentation
  • General administration and record management
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and patients
  • Maintaining accurate records and information

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am - 5:00pm

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years' administration experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
