About Us

W.C. O'Brien Digital – Sign – Print is one of Ireland's leading large-format print and signage companies. We design, manufacture and install a wide range of signage, graphics and branding solutions for clients across Ireland, including retail, corporate, events, aviation and public sector projects.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our busy production and design team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing artwork for a wide variety of print and signage projects, ensuring all files are production-ready and delivered to a high standard.

You will work closely with our sales, production and installation teams to bring client concepts to life while maintaining accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare artwork for signage, vehicle graphics, wall graphics, banners, exhibition displays and large-format print.
  • Create client visuals, proofs and mock-ups.
  • Prepare production-ready files for print, cutting and fabrication.
  • Liaise with clients regarding artwork requirements and revisions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure brand consistency and high-quality output across all projects.
  • Work closely with production staff to ensure smooth job delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' graphic design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience preparing artwork for print production.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within the signage, print or large-format graphics industry.
  • Knowledge of vehicle wraps and large-format print production.
  • Experience creating 3D mock-ups and visualisations.
  • Understanding of colour management and print processes.
