Full job description
Our model of Care is a relationship-based approach that is underpinned by the theoretic methodology of Cornell University’s Therapeutic Crisis Intervention system, and further supported by attachment theories. We are located on the boarder of Kildare/ Meath Border. The centre is a large 7 bed bungalow which is situated on 5.6 acres of land and is ideally suited to promote young people’s hobbies and interests. Our ethos is under- pinned by empowerment, partnership, respect and education through a relationship based approach.
NCRS offer a wide range of interventions and programmes specifically tailored to incorporate the individualised needs of young people. We aim to empower the young people to develop coping strategies and life skills in order for them to make appropriate life choices which will further enhance their ability to relate and communicate within society. We recognise that young people’s lives continue after they leave any care placement, therefore NCRS are committed to providing additional support through outreach.
