Full job description

We currently have retail assistant positions available with an immediate start in our busy newsagents and toy shop in Westport, Co. Mayo.

Main duties will include:

  • Operating till, dealing with enquiries and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Replenishing stock on shelves and maintaining tidy displays
  • Cleaning and tidying shop floor and counter areas
  • Checking/unpacking deliveries
  • Meeting all food hygiene and safety standards

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Previous customer service experience an advantage but not essential

Pay: €14.30-€15.00 per hour
