Start Your Career in Transport & Logistics
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team as a Transport Management & Logistics Apprentice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the transport, freight forwarding and logistics industry while gaining practical, hands-on experience and completing a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
You will work alongside experienced logistics professionals and gradually learn how to plan, coordinate and manage the movement of goods throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.
No previous logistics experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn.
What You Will Learn
As part of the apprenticeship, you will gain experience in:
- Planning and coordinating transport movements
- Managing customer transport and logistics requirements
- Working with hauliers, shipping lines and logistics partners
- Organising collections and deliveries throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe
- Monitoring shipments and providing customers with updates
- Preparing transport and shipping documentation
- Understanding freight rates and transport costs
- Learning how freight forwarding and supply chains operate
- Dealing with customers, suppliers and transport providers
- Using transport management and logistics software
- Problem-solving when delays or operational issues arise
- Understanding customs, compliance and international transport procedures
- Developing commercial and customer service skills
As your experience develops, you will be given increasing responsibility for managing your own customers, shipments and transport movements.

Previous experience in logistics is not required, as full training will be provided.
