Job Title: Assistant Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: €34,500

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our clients team in Clane, Co Kildare. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the business
- Ensure that all staff are trained to the highest standards and that they are motivated to deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage stock levels and ensure that the store is always fully stocked with the products that our customers want
- Monitor sales and ensure that the store is meeting its targets
- Identify any training needs and work with the General Manager to develop training programmes for the team
- Ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
