Job Title: Trainee Legal Executive / Personal Assistant

Location: Monaghan (Office-based)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €28,000–€32,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)

About the Role
We are a professional, well-organised legal practice based in Monaghan seeking a bright and motivated person to join us. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to grow within the legal profession.

You’ll begin by supporting the principal solicitor with administrative and personal assistant duties, while receiving full training in legal practice management software, client care, and compliance procedures. Over time, you will develop into a Legal Executive role with increasing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and PA support to the principal solicitor
  • Learn and manage legal practice management and compliance systems
  • Draft emails, letters, and legal documents to a high standard
  • Organise diaries, emails, and appointments efficiently
  • Maintain accurate client files and assist with onboarding processes
  • Contribute to the smooth and professional running of the office

About You

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent typing and written communication skills
  • Reliable, well-organised, and attentive to detail
  • Professional attitude and confidentiality at all times
  • Quick to learn new systems and open to training
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to build a career in law
