Healthcare Assistant

Location: Co. Kilkenny

Rate of Pay:14.50 to €20 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time/Temporary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our exceptional team! Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare / Healthcare Support
  • Experience working in a healthcare or caregiving role.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Drivers License (not mandatory but is an advantage)

Job Description:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting patients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment if necessary.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding patients.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to patients.
  • Helping patients with medication reminders and administration.
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
