Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team, contributing to high-quality design, analysis, and project management for infrastructure and building projects across Ireland. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, with a solid foundation in civil and structural engineering principles, project lifecycle knowledge, and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed designs for projects in various sectors, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure.
  • Perform site inspections, assessments, and feasibility studies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and euro codes.
  • Perform surveys and assessments
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Utilize engineering software to prepare drawings and models.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or Chartered Surveying with relevant experience.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer / Chartered Surveyor status) or working towards it.
  • Knowledge of Irish building regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This role offers the opportunity to take on a senior role in an experienced practice established over 20 years ago.

Projects vary from domestic extensions to commercial builds along with Local Authority and Utility provider works. A wide range of experience will be available to the right candidate in this interesting and diverse role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €45,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
