Westair Aviation Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Full Time Ground Operations Controller.

This role would suit a driven individual from a hospitality / customer service background looking to progress a career in aviation. The role encompasses office administrative duties and airport ramp duties so is quite dynamic. Training will be provided.

Duties include:

  • Meeting & Despatching Business Jet Aircraft at Shannon Airport
  • Arranging Services for Aircraft such as fuel, ground transport, catering etc.
  • Co-ordinating Movements for Westair Fleet
  • Compiling Trip Documents for Crew
  • Liasing with domestic and international aviation service providers
  • Completing in-house periodic reports.

Requirements:

3+ Years previous experience in a customer facing role is essential

  • Experience in Airport Ramp environment preferable
  • Full driving license essential
  • Keen interest in aviation, possess a positive attitude, and will work well with other team members.
  • Customer focused and results driven
  • Strong IT skills required
  • Flexibility and willingness to work out of hours and weekends essential
