Full job description

Culleton’s of Kilrane is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and reliable Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of our bar and restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting the team, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support bar and restaurant staff during service.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times.
  • Assist with the smooth running of daily operations.
  • Lead by example and motivate the team to deliver an excellent guest experience.
  • Allocate staff duties and manage service efficiently.
  • Deal professionally with customer queries and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Ensure food, drinks, and service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering.
  • Ensure the bar and restaurant areas are clean, organised, and presented to a high standard.
  • Follow and maintain all food safety, health & safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Support the management team with staff training and development.
  • Help create a positive, friendly, and professional working environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during busy periods.
  • A positive, hands-on approach to work.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Good knowledge of bar and restaurant operations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods.
  • A strong work ethic and professional attitude.
