Job Description
-
Execute analysis of raw materials, in-process material, and finished product in compliance with schedule. -
Complete analysis in accordance with SOP and standard methods.
-
Maintain and comply with Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirements.
-
Understand Regulations and business processes required to maintain Laboratory Data Integrity.
-
Responsible for the timely completion of chemical testing.
-
Ensure that all test equipment is used and maintained correctly. Raise change requests and data verification as assigned.
-
Ensure all in-process sampling and testing is completed on time.
-
Maintain up-to-date, complete, and precise records of all tests performed.
-
Adhere to cGMP and GLP requirements.
-
Assist in the resolution of quality problems as required.
-
Participation in investigations into failures, out of trends and out of specifications as required.
-
Develop in-house laboratory procedures as appropriate.
-
Support the transfer of new products.
-
Adhere to and supports all EHS standards, procedures, and policies.
-
Keep work area clean and tidy, participation in the 6S program.
Qualifications
-
Degree in an analytical science/biochemistry/toxicology is preferred. -
Experience using HPLC/GC analytical methods is essential for Chemistry Lab.
-
Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data and trends and draw conclusions.
-
Ability to articulate clearly when dealing with colleagues, peer groups and managers.
-
Proven ability to work independently and autonomously when required.
-
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
-
Excellent attention to detail.
-
Ability to plan and schedule workload.
-
High drive and energy with a passion for results.
-
Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deliver results while demonstrating an action- orientated approach to overcome obstacles.
-
Relevant industry experience preferred.
