Job Title: Junior Domestic BER Assessor & Air Tightness Tester
Company: SC Air Tightness & Ventilation
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Leinster Region (Office-based with field support)
Salary: From €35,000 - €40,000 per year / year depending on experience

About Us

SC Air Tightness & Ventilation is a specialist company established in 2007, delivering high-quality airtightness installations and mechanical ventilation systems across the Leinster region. Our Energy Consultancy division provides expert services in BER certification, airtightness testing, and sound insulation testing. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Junior Domestic BER Assessor & Air Tightness Tester to join our professional and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out BER assessments on domestic buildings in compliance with SEAI standards
  • Conduct airtightness tests (full training provided if not already qualified)
  • Liaise with clients and contractors professionally and efficiently
  • Complete reports using DEAP software and manage data accurately
  • Work collaboratively with our consultancy and testing teams

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum Level 6 Diploma/Degree in Building Surveying, Architectural Technology, or Engineering
  • SEAI-registered Domestic BER Assessor (or actively working towards it)
  • Experience with DEAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and cloud file management systems
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and building services
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Clear communicator with good customer engagement skills
  • Full clean driving license is essential

Additional training will be provided for Airtightness Testing and Sound Insulation Testing as required.
