Chevron College is Ireland’s leading employment skills provider. We are now seeking to add to our panel of Trainee Tutors for both classroom and online courses in the category of Engineering and Electrical Engineering Skills,

Your new role:

-Development of learning materials and classroom procedures prior to commencement of course

-Delivering certified training programs in Engineering and Electrical Engineering Skills , Engineering IT Skills , Mechanical Engineering Skills, Manufacturing Skillsto a group of assigned learners

-Providing assistance to learners on a one-to-one basis

-Communicating with course manager regarding the progress of the course

-Evaluation and assessment of learner progress, assignments etc.

-Playing an active role in the development of organisation policies and procedures

-Comply with any sector-specific awarding body tutor requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

-A qualification at least one level higher than the NFQ level of the award being delivered (level 5 or 6)

-A recognised Train-the-Trainer qualification at level 6 or equivalent.

-A minimum of 2 years’ recent and relevant industry or instructional experience in the subject matter.

-Proactive approach to supporting and developing others

-Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build key relationships
