Our portfolio includes over 975 MW of wind generating capacity in commercial operation or under construction, with 500 MW in development, alongside a growing pipeline of solar PV and energy storage projects.

As the renewable energy sector continues to expand rapidly, we are growing our team and seeking a motivated individual to support the design and development of projects across all stages of the lifecycle from feasibility through to construction and operation.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Ireland's leading renewable energy developers. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers, contributing to technical assessments, design work, planning applications, and project delivery for wind, solar and battery storage projects from early-stage feasibility through planning, design, construction and operation.

Key Responsibilities

· Site Feasibility Assessment — Evaluate potential sites for renewable energy development using CAD and GIS tools.

· Technical Project Support — Provide engineering input during project inception, development, pre‑construction and construction phases.

· Stakeholder Liaison — Engage with Local Authorities, consultants, landowners and contractors.

· Energy Yield Analysis — Conduct wind resource and energy yield assessments, including wake modelling and performance analysis using industry-standard and proprietary tools.

· Public Engagement — Assist in preparing materials for public information exhibitions and attend community meetings.

· Site Work — Participate in site surveys and walkovers.

· Engineering Drawings — Prepare site layout, planning, transport route and grid connection drawings.

· As‑Built Documentation — Support the preparation of design and as‑built drawings to EirGrid/ESBN standards.

· Project Delivery — Contribute to ad‑hoc project tasks and ensure high‑quality outputs.

Candidate Requirements

· A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Geospatial Science, or a related discipline.

· Strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders.

· Competent in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of CAD and GIS (training provided).

· Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.

· Flexibility regarding travel and working hours when required.

· Previous experience is advantageous, but motivated recent graduates will also be considered.

· Full, clean driving licence.

What We Offer

· Comprehensive training and mentoring from experienced engineers.

· Training in industry-standard software including GIS, AutoCAD, wind resource assessment and energy yield modelling tools.

· Exposure to all stages of renewable energy project development.

· Opportunities for career progression in a rapidly expanding sector.

· Competitive remuneration aligned with experience.

· A supportive, collaborative working environment within a growing Irish company.
