Full job description

Auralia Hospital is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our Accounts Department.

Working alongside our full-time Bookkeeper, you will assist with the day-to-day financial administration of the hospital, helping to ensure that financial records remain accurate, organised, and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time hours within a professional healthcare environment.

MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

Key Responsibilities

You will assist with a range of bookkeeping and finance duties, including:

  • Processing purchase invoices and supplier statements.
  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Processing receipts and financial records.
  • Assisting with payment runs.
  • Maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Supporting month-end accounting processes.
  • Filing and maintaining financial documentation.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding account queries.
  • Using Dext, QuickBooks and Salesforce as part of the day-to-day management of financial records and related administration.
  • Providing administrative support to the Accounts Department as required.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy and confidence using Dext, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work independently while also supporting a small team.
  • Professional communication skills and a confidential approach to financial information.
