Broadband Installation – Field Engineer

Role.

The role of Broadband Installation Engineer is to work closely with the Aptus team installing and maintaining broadband, phone and Wi-Fi networks and infrastructure for both business and residential customers, while at the same time developing your skills in Wi-Fi, Networking, Telephony and Electrical to meet the demands of an ever-evolving broadband industry.

Duties

The duties associated with the role of Broadband Installation Engineer include.

• Customer broadband installation and maintenance.
• Custom Wi-Fi installation and maintenance.
• Computer networking and cabling.
• Phone system installation.
• Cabling, testing, configuring and fault -finding customer equipment.
• Network maintenance.
• Develop understand of computer networking both cabled and wireless.
• Develop understanding experience for AC and DC electrical.
• Providing customer feedback helping to improve systems of work.

Criteria

• Technical background as technician or Engineer (in electronics, computers, broadband, or electrical).
• A qualification in Electronics, Electrical or Network is a distinct advantage.
• Be technically minded with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Experience with and be comfortable working at heights
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• A full clean driving license
• Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing organisational requirements.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage changing workloads.
• Approachable with good interpersonal skills

Pay: €35,000.00-€49,000.00 per year
