Following on from our stores in Mullingar and Kildare Village, we're just about to open a new store in our favourite city Cork — and we’re inviting you to be part of the story. We're also stocked in premium retailers such as Arnotts, Brown Thomas, Avoca, Kilkenny Design and more. With plans to open lots more stores around the country. This is a full time role for a Manager to lead our Cork store and team.

We’re looking for a Store Manager who has a:

• Customer-obsessed mindset – passionate about creating magical, memorable experiences every time
• Strong sales and commercial instinct – confident driving revenue, upselling, and maximising average order value
• Leadership mentality – leads from the front, motivates the team, and sets the pace and standard
• Immaculate attention to detail – the shop must always look exceptional
• Positive, super-friendly, professional presence – warm, engaging, and confident with customers and staff alike
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Fluent English (Required)
• Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - need to be sharp and fast!
• Flexible to work weekdays and evenings (primary working hours are between 11am-7pm (Mon-Thu) / 10am-8pm on Fridays

As Shop Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring it operates at an exceptional standard at all times
• Drive sales performance by actively upselling, coaching the team, and ensuring bestsellers (including our viral Dubai Chocolate) are front-and-centre
• Own store KPIs including sales targets, conversion, average spend, product performance, and customer experience
• Deliver outstanding visual merchandising, ensuring displays are always full, fresh, on-brand, and commercial
• Set and maintain extremely high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and stock organisation
• Welcome customers and tell the story of Sugar Plum Sweetery, ensuring every guest feels special
• Train, motivate, and lead the shop team, ensuring consistent service, energy, and performance
• Support stock management and replenishment, ensuring the store is fully stocked and beautifully presented
• Work at pace supporting web order fulfilment and packaging, maintaining premium presentation standards
