Business Development Manager

McBreen Group
Field-Based Role – Ireland
Full-Time | Permanent

About the Opportunity

The McBreen Group is a leading Irish provider of environmental, drainage and water management services, supporting commercial, industrial and public sector clients across Ireland.

Through our specialist divisions McBreen Environmental and InDepth Water Management, we deliver a wide range of services including drainage maintenance, wastewater management, industrial cleaning, leak detection, water compliance monitoring and reservoir services.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our environmental and water management services across Ireland.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop new business while representing a broad portfolio of environmental and water service solutions, enabling clients to access multiple specialist services through a single provider.

The position is field-based and involves travel across Ireland, working closely with clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial, industrial and public sector markets
  • Develop relationships with contractors, consultants, facility management companies and key decision-makers
  • Promote the full range of services across McBreen Environmental and InDepth Water Management
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell environmental and water management services
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and client presentations
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful delivery of services
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales Manager or Account Management roles
  • Experience within environmental services, water services, infrastructure, engineering or facilities management sectors is advantageous
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Commercially focused with a consultative sales approach
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a field-based territory
  • Full clean driving licence
