Business Development Manager – Beauty Division | Munster
Reporting to: National Sales Manager – Beauty Division Ireland
Role Purpose
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for driving sales growth, increasing market share, and expanding the customer base within your designated territory across Ireland. Working within the medical and aesthetics sector, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with clinics, medical professionals, and key accounts while delivering exceptional customer service and brand representation.
You will be responsible for achieving commercial targets, identifying new business opportunities, supporting customer education initiatives, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for the aesthetics and beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Deliver and exceed agreed sales, revenue, and KPI targets within your territory.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities aligned with the company's growth objectives and brand positioning.
- Develop and execute territory business plans to maximise account penetration and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Promote the full portfolio of products and services across the medical and aesthetics market.
Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Develop strategic account plans to identify opportunities for growth and increased product adoption.
- Monitor customer performance and proactively address challenges or opportunities.
- Ensure a high standard of customer experience and service delivery.
Education & Brand Support
- Support the delivery of educational events, workshops, and training initiatives within your territory.
- Work closely with the Education and Marketing teams to ensure customers are engaged and informed about new products, treatments, and promotions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all products, services, and clinical applications.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
Commercial & Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide regular market feedback and insights to the National Sales Manager and wider business.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and customer records through CRM systems.
- Analyse territory performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Education, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance teams to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and submit reports within agreed timelines.
- Support the implementation of national sales initiatives and campaigns.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused sales professional with a proven track record in business development and account management. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of building long-term professional relationships within the medical, aesthetics, or beauty sector.
You will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, thrive in a target-driven environment, and demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a field-based sales, business development, or account management role.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within the medical aesthetics, skincare, pharmaceutical, beauty, or healthcare sector.
- Experience presenting products, delivering training, or supporting educational events.
- Third-level qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
