Takumi Precision Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a long-term career in precision engineering with full on-site training provided. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. .

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, prepare, and operate CNC Milling and turning machines in accordance wih production requirments.
  • Monitor machine performance throughout production cycles and make adjustments where necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished components to ensure compliance wih engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Identify and report machine, tooling, or quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with company health and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve production targets and customer deadlines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous CNC machining experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Basic understanding of machining processes and engineering principles.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and production documentation (Job packs).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality-work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production schedules.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
