Full job description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator for our fast-paced workshop in Galway City. While some in-house training is provided, solid machining essentials are required prior to starting.

Key Responsibilities

  • CNC Milling & Fabrication: Operate Hurco CNC machines.
  • Technical Drawings: Read and interpret drawings accurately.
  • Quality Control: Measure and check finished parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances.
  • Optimisation: Adjust program parameters to maintain part specs.
  • Post-processing: Deburr parts and perform light assembly.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience with Hurco CNCs.
  • Skills: Strong technical drawing comprehension and precision measurement skills.
  • Language: Fluent English and strong communication skills.
  • Attributes: Reliable, quick learner, and highly detail-oriented.
