As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - CNC Machinist - Evening Shift- to join our group.

What you'll do

• Operates and performs general upkeep on 5 axis CNC milling machine
• Creates Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programmes
• Produces one-off prototypes initially, scaling up to production volumes
• Reviews drawings, instructions, or samples to ensure accurate production of key parts
• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping and monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
• Selects appropriate machine settings for a given task and plans appropriate sequence of operations to complete the assignment
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation
• Contributes and liaises with the multidisciplinary team to capture machining requirements

Who you are

• Experience in CNC 5 axis milling and CAM programming
• Experience with Fusion and Hypermill is an advantage
• Previous industry experience working with previously listed machine tools and other mechanical assemblies
• Working knowledge of safety protocols for all relevant equipment and workspaces
• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in mathematics
• Basic Computer Skills
