Job description

Our Bar Staff are passionate about great beverages & Sesonal Cocktails and drinks , and exceptional customer service.We are passionate about natural wines and good drinks so knowledge and interest in this is desired. You’ll be a great team player and contribute to creating a friendly, vibrant and welcoming environment for our customers and staff.

No two days are ever the same in our venue are the same, and you’ll find the environment fast paced and fun. You’ll have an amazing mix of customers and colleagues to brighten your day.

A TYPICAL DAY / WEEK

  • Greeting customers with a friendly smile and engaging chat to brighten up their day. Getting to know their preferences and ably recommending products they might like.
  • Developing a strong knowledge of our beverage range.
  • Developing Sesonal Drinks , Creating Cocktail menus and craft beer menus
  • Listening attentively to customers’ orders and entering the details and payment into the till with care.
  • Thanking your customers when you hand over their orders.
  • Keeping the venue well merchandised and beautifully clean and organised, behind and in front of the counter, the shop floor, customer and team toilets.
  • Getting involved in store events and staying up to date on what’s happening in Grand Stretch /Dubh/Bad Habits.
  • Always working within the framework of Company procedures and policies and being particularly vigilant with our Health and Safety guidelines.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Have pervious hospitality experinece
  • Have Worked as a Bartender in Ireland
  • Have worked in a Busy environment
  • Have worked in a small team in a high quality casual dining environment.
  • Be enthusiastic, confident - a people person
  • Have bar tendering / wine experience or knowledge
  • Be prepared to work 2/3 over 7 days
  • Have Knowledge on how to work in a bar from changing kegs and gas / stock taking
