Description

The Q Cafe Company is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team as a Kitchen Porter in North Dublin Unit.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure the wash-up area is maintained to a high standard, with all crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, and utensils cleaned, sanitised, and stored correctly.
  • Accept, check, and correctly store deliveries.
  • Maintain all storage areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
  • Segregate waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures.
  • Take ownership of waste management records and ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Support the kitchen team with general duties as required.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

Hours

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
