Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Kitchen Chef to join our busy commercial kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality food in large volumes, maintaining consistency across batches, and ensuring efficient production to meet operational demands. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and upholds the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in large quantities according to standardized recipes and production schedules
  • Oversee daily food production to ensure consistency, quality, and portion control
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
  • Manage inventory levels, rotate stock, and minimize waste
  • Assist with ordering and receiving deliveries, ensuring proper storage procedures
  • Collaborate with the kitchen management team to improve workflow and production efficiency
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly
  • Meet deadlines for production targets while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Production Chef, Line Cook, or similar role in a high-volume commercial kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of bulk food preparation and batch cooking
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production sheets accurately
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Culinary certification or relevant training preferred
