Café Manager

Location: Dublin 1 Job Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: €35,000–€40,000 per year (depending on experience)

About Us

Bean & Bloom is a busy, customer-focused café in Dublin’s IFSC. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Café Manager to lead our team, maintain high service standards, and oversee the day-to-day operation of our café.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of the café.
  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of café staff.
  • Prepare staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer issues professionally.
  • Manage stock levels, place orders, and liaise with suppliers.
  • Monitor cash handling, daily sales, and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and presentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience managing staff, stock control, and daily operations.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively.
  • Good English communication skills.
