Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Cafe Chef / Cafe Manager to take an active role in the day to day running of our new café opening soon in Ardclough, Straffan, Co. Kildare. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy daytime café which will be serving a very fresh, modern offering.

If you have a flair for producing dishes from fresh, tasty ingredients and would enjoy working as part of a friendly team in an exciting new venture, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a range of café dishes, light lunches, soups, sandwiches, and daily specials
  • Assist with developing the menu and seasonal specials
  • Maintain high standards of food quality
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the kitchen
  • Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene procedures
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and well stocked

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Chef, Cafe Chef,Cook or similar working in a busy kitchen environment
  • A passion for fresh, good quality food
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Qualification in HACCP and other food safety standards

Experience:

  • Chef: 2 years (required)
