Coffee Shop Manager / Supervisor

Off Grid Coffee – Howth

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable and people-focused Manager/Supervisor to join our team at Off Grid Coffee in Howth.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

At Off Grid Coffee, we value work-life balance and, where possible, aim to offer our full-time team a 4-day working week. We believe good people make great cafés — and we’re looking for someone who treats both customers and fellow staff with genuine Irish hospitality.Any baking experience would also be a big bonus

Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the café
  • Leading and supporting day-to-day operations
  • Managing staff rotas and team performance
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Maintaining high standards throughout the café
  • Stock ordering and supplier management
  • Cash handling and daily reporting
  • Supporting the team during busy service periods
  • Previous hospitality management or supervisory experience is essential
  • prepping sandwiches plus some food experience
  • Daily Haccp

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality management or supervisory experience is essential
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Friendly, positive and team-focused attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Weekend availability
  • Experience in HACCP
  • Experience with making sandwiches

Coffee experience is not essential — we can train the right person. What matters most is strong hospitality experience and a great attitude
