Full job description

Busy Café, Bakery Deli looking for a new staff member to help with the day to day running of the business, approximately 35 hours per week. We are looking for someone to join the team who has a passion for food and good coffee. The right candidate will be expected to take on some responsibilities while working alongside the business owner. Ideally Barista trained (not essential) and commands excellent customer service skills. Must be available to work from tuesday to Saturday

Looking for a team player that has the capability to work closely with the owner to develop the growing business, someone willing to get involved in all tasks, waiting tables, serving at the deli, making coffees, washing ware etc. Great opportunity for the right candidate to help build a growing new business, competitive salary will be offered to suitably qualified candidate.

The ideal candidates:

Responsibilities to include

  • Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday
  • Customer focused
  • Seating customers and waiting tables
  • Running Deli
  • Managing the till (pricing dockets, making sure dockets and takings are correct)
  • Being professional at all times
  • Kitchen cleaning duties; washing ware etc.
  • Maintaining the utmost level of cleanliness and hygiene

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred
  • HACCP trained
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English
