The Barista Role

We are looking for an experienced, full-time Barista to join our team. This role will be based in our Honey Truffle Café in Dublin 2.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, keeping service running smoothly while maintaining a positive, welcoming, and professional presence on the floor.

Our baristas play a key role in creating a great customer experience. You will often be the first person our customers see and speak to in the morning, so it’s important to bring a warm, friendly attitude and a genuine smile to every interaction.

We are looking for someone who is confident, welcoming, and naturally conversational, with the ability to engage with customers while delivering efficient and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and drinks to customers
• Maintain excellent customer service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth service during

busy periods

• Take customer orders and operate the till system accurately
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation at all times
• Open, close, and clean coffee machines according to café standards
• Dial in and adjust grinders to ensure optimal coffee quality
• Steam, control, and pour milk to a high standard
• Support and assist in training other team members where required
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent service
• Be flexible to work across different locations when required

Requirements

· Minimum 6 months to 1 year of recent, relevant barista experience (Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.)

· Ability to work well under pressure in a busy café environment

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Fluent English speaking

· Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers

· A positive and hospitable attitude, representing the company and brand

· Strong organisation and attention to detail

· Full-time availability, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours over a 7-day period

· A willingness to learn, grow, and develop skills within the company
