Early Shift Deli Assistant – Dublin Airport

KSG Catering is a leading provider of café, restaurant, retail, and hospitality services to a broad range of clients and blue-chip companies. Our mission is to deliver excellence in food, retail, and customer service to enhance the daily experience of our customers.

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused full-time Early Shift Deli Assistant to join our team at Dublin Airport, terminal 1 for our new Deli/Food convivence shop due to open in the coming weeks.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the shop by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high presentation standards, supporting stock management, and creating a welcoming shopping environment.

Role Details

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • This role is rostered 5 days over 7, with alternating shifts, therefore evening and weekend availability is required. The shift pattern will be between 4:00am until 8:00pm daily.
  • Candidates must have full-time working rights in Ireland (40hours/week).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, display, and serve fresh deli products to company standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer requests
  • Maintain food hygiene and HACCP procedures and complete required records
  • Ensure deli counters and food displays are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing
  • Support with food preparation and replenishment throughout service periods
  • Clean and maintain workstations, equipment, and general service areas
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Consistently provide a welcoming and positive experience for customers

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a deli, catering, food service, or hospitality environment essential.
  • Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
