We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of person-centred care and building strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals.


The Role:

The Care Supervisor/Quality will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe and person-centred care while supporting the continued growth and development of Heritage Homecare.


The Role:

  • Be responsible for your own dedicated geographical region.
  • Be responsible for managing all aspects of your clients care.
  • Carrying out duties such as service reviews, updating care plans, conducting risk assessments.
  • Ensuring we are delivering the highest quality standard of care to our clients.
  • Ongoing support to our care team through supervision, competency reviews and staff engagement.
  • Work closely with scheduling team regarding capacity in each area.
  • Working with own initiative and reporting to the Quality Manager.

Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence with access to your own car.
  • QQI Level 5 (Major Award) in a healthcare-related field or equivalent is required.
  • A QQI Level 6 qualification is desirable, or the candidate must be willing to enrol.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy office environment.
  • Superb organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload and multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to use initiative and work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in addition to the ability to work independently and manage own time.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Fluent English speaker and permission to work full time in Ireland.


Desirable experience:

  • 1 year's previous experience in a supervisory role in home care/healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Previous experience in Homecare/Community based care an advantage but not necessary.
